Cut length is the bare carbon only, end to end. Inserts and collars hide about 1/8" of carbon, so measuring an old arrow to the collar comes up about 1/8" short. Insert weight starts at the one that ships with your arrow.

Victory spine numbers run on the same scale. This is a starting point, not a guarantee.
