This one is easy. Shoot the 2024 Alpha X™ and Carbon RX-8™ Series bows and you’ll understand why. Both bows draw buttery smooth, shoot even smoother, and are loaded with the same technologies, including our all-new, wider limbs and HBX™ Xact™ cam system. The only difference - the material of the riser. Alpha X features an intricate, vibration-reducing aluminum riser, while the RX-8 boasts Hoyt Carbon Technology in a light-weight carbon riser. So which one do you choose? Easy. Either.

Imitated but never matched! Hoyt’s RED-WRX® bows have set the bar ridiculously high. And the Carbon RX-8 keeps on raising it. With wider, shorter limbs and an all-new cam system, the RX-8 saw such improvements in smoothness and silence that we removed both the limb and riser shox, and it was still quieter than every previous carbon model. This bow stands on its own and is our most customizable carbon bow ever.

Specifications

FPS: 342

Brace Height: 6 1/8"

Axle-to-Axle: 30 9/16"

Mass Weight: 4.0 lbs

Draw Weight: 70 lbs

Draw Lengths: #2 (26.25"-28")

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0733/8521/4228/files/Untitleddesign-2026-10-02T142001.272.png?v=1790976013
